Wind had picked up a little through the day and rain held off so went for a quick buggy after work.

Not enough wind to start with, but as a bank of cloud came in with it came wind. Fully powered up for about half an hour followed by light rain so decided to stuff kite in its bag and leave lines staked out as it seemed to just be a shower. Just as I got back to the car to shelter until it had passed saw flash followed by rumbles of thunder... :o

That was enough to tell me I was being silly so packed up fully just as it started tipping it down.
